• Mt Eden or One Tree Hill (one of 40 volcanoes in Auckland –don’t worry they are extinct!) for fantastic views of Auckland City - packa picnic! Catch a bus or use our Cityhop car share car.
• Auckland Museum in the Domain and Maritime Museum on the Viaduct - learn our history!
• Harbour Bridge Climb and Bungy over water
• Waiwera - thermal hot pools and slides - A little further out of Auckland but worth it! Think about driving 45 minutes further on and visiting the Goat Island marine reserve at Leigh. See what the sea looked like before Europeans came.
• Ponsonby and Parnell – great shopping and nice areas for lunch or dinner (easy to bus too from Aspen)
• Ferry or Harbour Cruise (you can get a cheap one through the Maritime Museum) Visit Devonport, or go to Waiheke for its great beaches, vineyards, scenery.
